Basic introduction to guided and silent mindfulness meditation practices, integrating the styles of Thich Nhat Hanh, Ashtanga Yoga, and Deng Ming-Dao as tools for everyday living. The practice includes breathing and relaxation techniques, mental imagery, gentle stretching/movement, and discussion and practice of the effects of japa (meditative recitation of a mantra).
