This course has been made possible through the generosity of Frances L. "Sunni" Bloland, U.C. Berkeley's longtime Supervisor of Physical Education of social/folk dance, who received the U.C. Berkeley Distinguished Teaching Award in 1990.
Explorations of various club Latin dance forms with emphasis on Bachata. Students will learn to execute Club Latin dance steps in Bachata.
Level 1:
The emphasis of this class will be on the development of basic Bachata steps and vocabulary. Students will also learn the correct posture and footwork for the Bachata dance.
