Class Level Definitions

Level 1 - Elementary

These sections are designed to provide basic introductory instruction for those students with minimal or no skill and knowledge.

Level 2 - Low Intermediate

These sections provide instruction for students already possessing basic knowledge and skill.

Level 3 - Intermediate

These sections provide instruction for students with an average skill level that will improve knowledge, strategies and performance.

Level 4 - High Intermediate

These sections provide instruction and practice for students that will enhance and refine skilled performance. For all PE 4 classes, students should be prepared to participate in activity at the first class meeting.

Level 5 - Advanced

These sections provide comprehensive instruction for the highly skilled performer. For all PE 5 classes, students should be prepared to participate in activity at the first class meeting.

Level 11 - Men's Intercollegiate Athletics

These sections are restricted to students currently participating on the Men's Intercollegiate Athletic teams and are not the general physical education classes listed above as Levels 1 through 5.

Level 12 - Women's Intercollegiate Athletics

These sections are restricted to students currently participating on the Women's Intercollegiate Athletic teams and are not the general physical education classes listed above as Levels 1 through 5.
